The floor was made of Bolon vinyl carpets in a large scaled fish bone parquet. Twenty-five of Sweden’s most prominent designers were presented telling their love story about their own furniture, design and method.

KlimaX was elected the best Nordic exhibition concept 2009 and received the ”Roy L. Shafer Leading Edge award” for best visitor experience in Fort Worth, Texas 31 october 2009.

The concept is water. Water in liquid and solid shape.

The entrance zone serves as a changing room and storage for yellow rubber boots in all sizes.

Entrance corridor to the actual exhibion space. The handrail is a surprise element shifting in temperature from 18°C to 20°C representing the shift due to climate change.

Wind is present, the ephemeral and unpredictable are important ingredients that sometimes lead to frustration just as the irrational ways of reality sometimes interferes in our daily lives. While the visitors wade around in cold water between solid ice cubes they are presented with information text and images printed and projected on textile sheets.  The sheets are sometimes affected by wind (large fans) which will make them waver and the present moment will interfere with the traditional reading of the exhibition text.

Radio controlled rubber boats add an active and interactive layer to the traditional narrative exhibition letting the visitors navigate themselves within the global issue of climate change.

A separate film room acts as a meditative space for reflection and contemplation.

At the end of the visit the visitor has the opportunity to take a stand i various questions regarding climate change.

The design needed to be flexible for different spaces, easy to build and transport as well as provide an interesting visitor experience.

Rooms were created in lycra on wooden frames creating a vague visibility through the “walls”.

The inspiration for the design is the Laplandic landscape with its different shapes and geometric forms. We wanted to create the vision of walking on a nature trail. 

In one end of the room the floor is elevated in to ledges, like ledges in a granit landscape, perfect for gatherings and a place to sit and rest.

Invited by the Nobel Museum we designed an exhibiton about Albert Einstein and his impact on the scientific world.

In the museum every winner is represented with a portrait circuling on a rail in the ceiling. All Nobelprize winners who´s discovery in some way was effected by Einstens work were marked with a red flag. The impact of Einstein was remarcable!

To handle the traditional pillared hall we created three wide textile bands and wraped them in loops around the room. This way you were surrounded Einstein in more than one sense.

A modern and interactive museum with ABBA as the theme.
