Codesign has been commissioned to develop a brand based architectural concept for Nordnet and, based on this, design their new headquarters in downtown Stockholm.
“Nordnet has moved to a large office encompassing some 6700 sq. m. over five floors, and several hundred people will be based at the office on a daily basis. We have concentrated our efforts to ensure the architectural concept embraces the entire property and, through the help of various elements, creates a flow towards the core of the office at the centre of the building. This way, no matter where you are in the office you can easily get your bearings and see how the different elements belong together in one gigantic operation,” says Stuart Gabriel, architect at Codesign.
Nordnet is planning to move into their new premises at the end of 2017.
“We have taken a strategic decision to move into the city as, among other things, it offers better transport links. The building itself is unique and has a great potential, which suits our business perfectly. We’re looking forward to an exciting process and taking part in the design of our new office,” says Jenny Garneij, Chief Human Capital Officer at Nordnet.
Nordnet is an online bank with business in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Nordnet was founded in 1996 as a reaction to the outdated structures in the banking business. In order to give more power to consumers, Nordnet made it possible to trade and invest over the internet.
